Held weekly April through September from 6-9pm (except rainy days), the market is a street festival and certified farmers' market. Located on Broadway from 2nd to 5th Streets, the area is closed to vehicle traffic to allow for the festivities.

Taste of Chico 2010 satisfied the appetites of more than 15,000 attendees hungry for a good time. With more than 125 participating restaurants, beverage vendors, wineries and breweries - plus music, art and more - the event showcased the best of what Chico has to offer.
The National Yo-Yo Contest is held annually in Chico the first Saturday in October. It's the longest running National Championship in the world. Come out to City Plaza for this all day event on October 2, 2010 beginning at 7:00 am and running unil 7:00 pm
